Well gang, I'm back! I'm giving a shoutout to my loyal reader, Scotty. Without him, I don't know how often I would update this! So, shoutout!
Let's see. The past few weeks have been CRAZY hectic. After the Big XII tournament, I had a week of class and then I went to Lubbock for Ratch's engagement. I flew to Dallas and then rode with Leah out to Lubbock. We had the BEST time on the drive (as much fun as people can have driving to Lubbock). We switched off songs on our iPods, which ended with us blasting rap music. We're so hood.
We surprised Ratch in Lubbock. Poor Ratch, she was delayed for 4 hours trying to get from Dallas. She looked pissed beyond belief walking out of the airport. And John was practically having an aneurysm. Leah, Sami, and I had to be the calming forces for a while. But, after Ratch saw us she was happy again. Our job was to take her to lunch, and make sure she didn't get drunk. We achieved one of those goals. Then we passed her off for the rest of her day! We all met up later at Abuelo's after the proposal! In case you were wondering, she said yes. It was a fun weekend, and I'm glad I got to see my girls.
After Lubbock, I had about a day off before I was off to Arizona for the Sweet 16! Mizzou made it, and I went out to watch! My hero used one of his free flights so I could go out there and spend my spring break. They had a water slide at the hotel! I'm pretty sure I went down it no less than 50 times. I got quite a sunburn that first day. But it was so fun! Later that night Scott and I owned at buck hunter. Until I broke my gun trying to reload too vigorously. Oh well. I claim that's the only reason he won :)
Thursday, Mizzou kicked some Memphis butt to get into the Elite 8! It was such a fun game and a great atmosphere; I'm really glad I got to be there. Friday, we drank and watched basketball all day. We found this place that literally had over 100 TVs showing various sporting events. It was good times. One of my favorite pictures of the trip also came from Friday. It is Scott and John on the kiddy merry go-round. It's on facebook. Some might say it's a must see. Those people would be me.
Saturday, Mizzou played a tough game, but lost to UConn. They had a great season!
Everyone but John flew home on Sunday, and we spent the day being tearfully bored. Fortunately, I flew home at 6am today, and I was back in Columbia by 1:30pm. Just in time to watch 24 and then get my life in order before it's back to the real world tomorrow. It was a great spring break and I'm glad I got to have the experience and share it with some cool people.
Anyhoo, I really need to get on some homework now. I'm so tired, but someone wise said there's no rest for the weary. Have a good night everyone!

Big XII Champs!
Yay Mizzou! Big XII Men's Basketball Tournament Champions! If A&M can't win, I'm glad my other team did :) I was at the game, and it was super fun. To all you negative Nancies whining about how they didn't have to play anyone difficult: they beat everyone the "good" teams lost to, so suck it!
I was at the A&M game on Wednesday, also called epic meltdown 2009. I was pissed. I wanted to write all over cars in anger. (I didn't, so no one freak out). The rest of the week was much better. The other games were fun to watch. We had an all-session pass, so we went to the OU/OSU game, which was a packed house and a really good game. That game confirmed further why I like OSU fans way better than OU fans. The OSU fans were respectful and easy to talk to, while the OU fans had an "I'm better" attitude about them, and man were they bitter a-holes when they lost. In the words of my wise good friend Ryan, "If you wear an OSU shirt, you went to college; if you wear an OU shirt, you likely have the ability to get to a Wal-Mart." Pretty accurate. The a-holeness continued on our long drive home from OKC on Saturday after the game. We were eating at On the Border (YAY! But, it wasn't very good at that particular restaurant), and these drunk jerks starting yelling Boomer Sooner at our table while we were trying to eat. I just sat there thinking "are you kidding me?" They were such trashy idiots.
Anyway, that was my sidetrack story about how much I dislike the majority of OU fans. The week was fun overall. We went to the OKC bombing memorial and museum. They did a really great job. It's a really moving tribute to everyone involved. I cried during certain parts of the museum. Especially when I looked at the stuff involving all the kids that had died or been injured. It was very sad and it made me very angry that someone would do something so atrocious. They had a blown up picture of Timothy McVeigh's mugshot, and I wanted to punch it. I'm glad he's dead, and I certainly doubt he's in heaven. We have issues if he is.
Let's see, what else. OH. During the championship game, Scott made it onto the "Dance Cam," because he was acting like an idiot. He was the first person on the big screen, and they shot him dancing for a good 20-30 seconds. Fortunately, my crimson red face was hidden behind some Baylor fan who was wearing a huge hat in the shape of a bear head. I will admit though, he was a hit.
And now, onto March Madness. A&M is playing BYU in Philly on Thursday, and Mizzou plays Cornell in Boise, ID on Friday. Scott is going with the spirit squad and band. That wouldn't be my first choice of trips. Maybe the court will be smurf blue like their football field. :)
Ok, me thinks it's bedtime. I've got a busy week of catching up on work!

Exhaustion Meltdown
I'm absolutely exhausted, and I definitely just had an exhaustion meltdown. I've been on edge all day, and most of yesterday, and it all just exploded for the most random of reasons. I took a shower, and afterwards while I was Q-Tipping my ears, I pushed it into my left ear too far and, as a natural reaction, I burst into tears. That's a perfectly logical reaction to something so minor; at least I think so. Then I cried about everything; school, work (or my lack of it), my Q-Tip, money, the time change, waking up early, and so on. The good news is, I feel better now, so phew.
So, I went to College Station this past weekend. I got some new Aggie clothes. And, that's all I'll say about that.
Big week this week. The Big XII tourney starts on Wednesday. A&M faces texas tech, and if we beat them then it will be Mizzou vs. A&M, Scott vs. Nikki; round two. We'll see how it goes. Speaking of the tourney, is there anything to do in Oklahoma City? I've only been once and I don't remember much about it.
The David's Bridal $99 gown sale commercial is on. $99 for a wedding dress? Is it made of tee-shirt? My bridesmaid's dress from there was more expensive. Speaking of that, it will be arriving at the store in a mere few weeks, I sure do hope it fits :-/ Nothing would be more mortifying than being too elephant like for your bridesmaid dress. Well, maybe something would, but I'm sure it's up there.
On that note, it's bedtime. Have a good night all! And remember, be careful when you Q-Tip, don't hurt yourself!

Days Away from College Station
Party time suckas!! I'll be making my way to College Station on Friday, whoop! I'm so excited; I haven't been since last July, when I tore up the town at a friend's bachelorette party. It's Scott's first ever trip to CS, so it'll be fun to show him my hood. I'm such a gangsta. But not. It'll be in the 80s there this weekend, yesss. 80 is definitely warmer than 40 or less. In fact, it's at least twice as hot. Math genius here.
So, I've been called on 4 times for various classes in the past week. It's been a gauntlet! I really wish my Sales prof would pay attention to who he's called on, because Thursday and then the next Tuesday again really isn't ok with me. Especially when I have so much Facebooking and Perez Hilton reading to do! Just kidding....but seriously.
Ok, it's bedtime. I'm exhausted and I'm getting sick, AGAIN. Love y'all!
